Ecotourism Bibliography
compiled by Ron Mader (ron@txinfinet.com)
Updated September 1996
The Ecotourism Bibliography is constantly evolving as new works are
published or older works come to my attention. I've been tracking the
subject of environmental tourism since completing my thesis in Costa Rica in
1990. If you know of a source that should be reviewed, please let me know!
Review copies will be considered for inclusion.
Please note that many of these books address Ecotourism from either an
academic viewpoint or as a travel guide. This topic deserves to much more
fully integrated throughout environmental, policy, academic and business
circles. Consider this a proposal for a book that more further explores this
topic.
Comments? Questions? Write or email me directly. Thanks,
